The T000420 is a Optical Isolator where in this case this Optical Isolator is specifically tuned and only intended to be used in a 1310nm Laser optical system, the Optical Isolator will allow light to pass with minimum loss between the input to output ports however should light be traveling in the opposite direction output to input port then the optical Isolator will absorb that light to a level of 30dB.
